Sunrise brings Hope

“Wake up!” mom nudged her hard enough to make her sit upon her bed.

After a big yawn, and a stretch Prema walked with empty buckets in her hand towards a destination where the water truck would station.

While she waited in a queue for the truck to arrive, ‘Despite no water in our pipes, Life is beautiful.’ she muttered as she saw how the sun broke the spell of darkness with one drop of shine at a time.

She brought the two buckets of water to her cottage with the intention that the water crisis will end soon.

Wordless Wednesday #124

Windy evening this side, while driving I see the street sign flapping violently yet, hanging on securely to the grapnel.

Made me wonder....who is our anchor?

What makes us stand firm amidst a storm which tends to blow off our mind and drain us emotionally or mentally?
What keeps you grounded?

Mantra for today: “Hope is the anchor of life.”

Wordless Wednesday #57

When my plant was all dried up, I thought of putting the contents in the recycling bin. Just then a few days later, small shots of growth were visible.

Wonder how life sprung up when everything was dry and parched?

Mantra for today: Life is a mystery thus, never give up hope!

Wordless Wednesday #50

On a cloudy day, when I see a small radius of clear sky; it makes me optimistic that the radiance of the sun is not far away!

When life plays a peek a boo moment, hope thrives in the hearts of many to continue to tread upon the lonely streets even though the planet is jammed with a population of over a billion!

Mantra for today: Hope is a strong thing that can flutter your heart even without words!

The Impression of Hands Conjoined

Wordless Wednesday, I saw the lovely picture by Indrani Ghose where she had displayed hands that were combined.
It brought ME solace just looking at that photo.

Wondered, if it is the color combination in print or just the notion of two parts of the body being entwined. Although, I am sure legs or arms weaved around do not make such an impact.

What is it about hands?

Is it the gesture of man's obedience to divine power?

OR

Is it a sign of submission, sincerity or repentance?

OR

Is it the mere touch?

Such lovely nouns with profound meaning.

Hands can be mystical and can create such an impact when clasped since, it promises optimism, while giving the anticipation for a dream to come true.

No wonder, seeing those hands clasped together, makes me skip a heart beat as it ablutions off the stress and gives me hope for a brighter tomorrow.

Mantra for today: Hope keeps a man alive!

Converting Failure into Successes...

Life is a long journey of good 70 years minimum. In that lifetime, man faces failures and successes. However, failures hurt the most, and man tends to remember those times when adversity strikes again.

How can we convert our failures into success?

Our mind!

Seriously!

Yes, if we learn from our failures, it will not be regarded as a breakdown, but it will be counted as success since we took home a lesson from it.

Keep your vision wide, and tap onto your sub conscious mind whenever failure strikes. Since, it is there to teach you something. Look at the pros and cons of your failure. Analyze it. Do not come to conclusions, but instead talk to yourself about it.

When your conscious mind talks to your sub conscious mind, analysis is done. And surprisingly, you will find some treasure beneath that failure. If not at that moment, but eventually you will realize it.

Fate cannot be so cruel so, hang in there, oh man!

Mantra for today: Hope is strong and mighty. Man ought to stick to his robust dream.

Test of Patience

Being a mom is Eternal and Divine.

However, when there is a to-do list to take care of and your kid is home 'cause he is sick; it requires this mom to take a lot of practice and reminders to be good and patient with her kid.

Just as I would sit down to read Julie's Wanted: A Memoir; my son would have a question for me and my answer could not be a simple yes or a no. I had to specify why and how.
Then, I would lose track of what I was doing and start something new.

Distraction was at every step of the way, but to force myself to be patient made me very bitter for everything.

End Result: Everything that I wanted to accomplish; was half way done

However, the sweet ending was that my kid is doing much better and has resumed school today. I look fwd to some productive and creative time.

As the learned say: Patience is a virtue.
But, not all can achieve it.
I still gotta row my boat towards it.

Mantra for today: Wait and Hope
