The Pain of Separation

It was the year 1947 when my dad's parents were dodging against wild, barbarian mobs while firmly holding small fragile hands.

They constantly uttered, "we will be fine" to pacify the little ones and more so to tame their mind so that they could successfully escape from a partitioned land and be in a country that they would call their home and be free from harm.

Years flash forward, and today laying on her death bed my grandmother said, "Let no man ever experience the pain of partition where one is forced to detach and move into a new land.”

Is there a Fear Factor?

My reasons for apprehensions are usually associated with chores, or emotions for a loved one.

My "But's" and "If's"that arise either due to some dilemma or due to my arthritis that  slows me down, which gives me a guilt factor and make me spring up in action more so to keep the feelings intact, and not create a scene.

It's not the fear that holds one back.

It is the regret to make someone unhappy especially when they are expecting something from you.

Expectations sure can be treacherous but, that's how we all get into a relationship in the first place, Correct?

Until man continues to live as a social animal, the fear factor will not die off since a life without relationships will cease all communications and correspondence.

Result
To live a life without fear,  man has either embraced solitude or has detached from the society.

Thus, until I decide to confinement, I wanna stay "afraid"

I want to have a fear factor within me since that helps the inside me to stay motivated and inspired to join in the hustle- bustle of the daily life. This kind of emotion even though can get stressful at times, helps me walk along with my brethren's who are also sailing in the same boat while strutting along the path of life.

However, when it comes to being afraid of things such as specific animals or certain events. I need to test my guts and determination to face those fears and get over them! Since in the end, it's all a sound practical judgement that is independent of each being.

We all fear something or the other in this life.

Mantra for today: Being afraid is like making a selection, choice is ours to make!

Live it up!

March 8th is International Women's day!

This woman is facing bricks and turning to mortar and yet when approached is tender, loving and has a consistent smile.

Always wonder what is this skeleton made of?

Although, scientifically the composition of man and woman is the same except for some different hormones that make her a SHE and a man a HE.
This lady is tortured, abused and goes under the knife for all the wrong reasons!

Unfortunately, this is not limited to any one country. It is happening behind walls even in developed nations.
Even though there  is a bunch of women who have proved that it is not just a man's world, but there are millions who are persecuted, tormented, and maltreated. Some victims are bold to make headlines and just reading about them gives the heebie-jeebies down the spine.

“Being a woman is a terribly difficult task since it consists principally in dealing with men.” ― Joseph Conrad

Dealing with men has become an issue for this weaker sex. Ego is the number one factor for all the above reasons cause women are definitely proving themselves to be multi-talented yet organized while man is idling away his time getting his adrenaline high by either watching sports or god knows what!!

“When a man gives his opinion, he is a man. When a woman gives her opinion, she is a bitch.” ― Bette Davis

Thus, explaining that a man's success is not just his since there is a woman behind it. This woman could be his mother, sister or wife. They are their to constantly guide him or pilot his aircraft to a safe landing.

“As usual, there is a great woman behind every idiot.” ― John Lennon

This important day (March 8th) as we put this woman on the international platter; we ought to not just throw a few crumbs at her, but also patronize for all that she has done so far and give her the respect, dignity, and appreciation for all that she has undergone and yet prefers to put a man on the pedestal.

What I really want to scream out loud is that no one is weak or strong when it comes to humans. Man and woman were created to live in unity and breed a community.

Mantra for today: “Men are from Earth, women are from Earth. Deal with it.”
― George Carlin

Self-Deception is good

“Now go to your room,” shouts mom.

Charlie trots to his room and jumps into his bed. He is quick to pull the covers over him.

“Hi buddy,” whispers Charlie, “how have you been?”

There is a pause

“I am not happy today. Mom would not listen to my argument. I dunno how you always listen to me? You are so patient and I wish I could introduce you to mom, but I wonder without being nicknamed crazy how do I tell her about you?”

Mantra for today: Living a life in delusion can sometimes be good for an individual.

Happiness for Sale!

Pete sees a banner, "Happiness for sale" in bold letters.

He could not resist stepping in the store.

Then he reads, "A Dozen happiness for dumping your half a dozen sorrows"

Pete grins, "There must be a trap to it.”

A lady asks him to write his six sorrows.

Pete twists his eyebrows and scratches his beard, “ Why would you do it? What is the catch?"

The lady takes a deep breath and she had a last laugh.

Mantra for today: Sometimes life can be too good to be true. Pinch yourself but do not let the moment go!
