Happiness for Sale!

Pete sees a banner, "Happiness for sale" in bold letters.

He could not resist stepping in the store.

Then he reads, "A Dozen happiness for dumping your half a dozen sorrows"

Pete grins, "There must be a trap to it.”

A lady asks him to write his six sorrows.

Pete twists his eyebrows and scratches his beard, “ Why would you do it? What is the catch?"

The lady takes a deep breath and she had a last laugh.

Mantra for today: Sometimes life can be too good to be true. Pinch yourself but do not let the moment go!

My Last day there...

Join in the fun at Write Tribe with 100 words. Today's prompt is:

I knew it was my last day there

---------

The sitting on lap and doing the nose-to-nose rub, as the chuckles would fill up the living room. The perching on the tractor and touring the farm while chewing the sugarcane and waving to the farmers who were working on producing herbage on mother earth makes me inhale deep and relax those tensed muscles as I wipe my tears as he lay there breathing his precious few gasps.

Seeing my Nanaji in that state, I knew it was my last day there.

Mantra of the Day: Being in the moment can help us bring closure to the memories we created.
