Do you Flirt with your Dark side?

We all have our dark sides which makes us turn into a devil for a few minutes in a day. We tend to get enveloped by negativity, and that makes our heart beat go high.

At that moment of time, everything seems grey, and frustration is at it's peak. Life seems worthless, and we tend to reflect on what have we achieved so far...

That is our darkest moment of our day, and we regret it as we sit down and look at our emotional wounds.

Try to be in command over it, by flirting with your dark side.

How?

When dejected over a failure, we tend to come in the present moment. That makes us look at just the negative of the situation and make us lament more. As tears flow out due to emotional pain, we look around at people who are thriving and laughing.

Flirt with this situation by continuing to be in it. The more you lament, the better it is for you to get over it.

You tend to take out the blame with no shame. You cry, and you squeal.

End: You feel so much lighter.

It is like licking your wounds by making advances with your inner self.

Man is a known flirt then why not practice this art over thyself, and learn to be happy.

Mantra for today: Life is a big flirt.

Wordless Wednesday

Join in the fun at Pictimilitude.

My kid was building/balancing these sticks.

Goal of this play:
The pillar needs to stay balanced as the player puts sticks on it.

I found it very interesting and related it to life.

One Life and the many challenges we face in this lifetime, and try to juggle them as wisely as possible.

The Challenges tend to strengthen our mind. An easy life tends to become boring.

Mantra for today: Life is fun with challenges, embrace them.

The 3 C's of our Life

Life is about Changes, Choices and Chances

If we would not get any of the above, we would describe Life as a drag.

When we do get the above; we tend to get overwhelmed with it.

Confused Man!

Stay aware of what life is offering you.

Take a chance and make the necessary changes when given a choice in this lifetime.

Do not fret over the time gone. Look forward to the future that is in store for you. Be in the moment and grab the 3 C's by its horns.

Be Adventurous!

Mantra for today: Live in the Present.

Life, a Podium

The world's a stage.

We all are the actors playing our roles.

No script is in our hands.

What fate gives us; we accept it, and react accordingly.

Thus, proving that man is versatile and each day if shot into a film would be a hit since; he made it without a scratch on his physical body.

However, the marks that he carries on his emotional self are destructive and if he does not drown them off. Those cuts tend to bruise the physical body. That brings in the diseases.

Drown your emotions. Free yourself from these shackles that hold your mind down.

Feel the difference!

Mantra for today: Let go of all your emotions, and you will feel your physical body lighter.

Frustration!

It is Friday, Finish the Sentence Friday Blog Hop #7

“I feel so frustrated when Life offers me Stones instead of Lemons that I dreamt of"

-----------

We are such talented souls and have carved out distinct plans for our selves and our future. However, Destiny has something else in store for us, and when we don't see what we want, we tend to get Frustrated.

I have had many frustrated moments in my life especially when I am climbing the ladder of my dream, there comes a large stone in my path, which makes me stop, halt and even take a different route. There goes my ambitions and my planning for a particular goal that I dreamt of.

Oh! how frustrating that is!

I have heard my self cry out loud, "Why ME?"

But, then the route that I was forced to take; has shown me a path that is fresh and has given me joy in a remarkably different way.

It has helped spark my inner self and gave me a beautiful meaning to my existence.

------------------

Oh Frustration,

You have your own darn way to stop me;

From my Goals in life.

You took me on a path that is least trod upon;

I felt so lonely and desolate.

But, either Time was a healer or you turned around for me;

And made that approach green, and showered it with joy around.

Oh Frustration, you can be so darn cruel at times, but I know that you have your own sweet way to make me reach the Goal I should be actually having in this life.

-------------

Mantra for today: Frustration has a Motive; Reflect upon it.

Reality TV Shows

Just recently a survey indicated that reality TV shows are a big hit amongst our audience.

Seriously?

I could not digest the fact that people cannot get a life of their own. Why are they interested in other people's lives?

Meddling in other people lives and their problems will only complicate your own life.

Let us try to look within ourselves and try to see our flaws and improvise on them rather than idling that time over the idiot box watching a reality tv show where they cry, they shout and fight with each other over petty reasons. While, the audience looks at them with either pity or laugh at their stupidity.

We are smart beings, we need to get a life of our own and not be judging the mistakes of others.

With just a few days away from a new 2013. Let us start fresh and make amendments with ourselves and Get a life!

Mantra for today: Get a life!

Food Concoctions

Let's face it..We are all food junkies.

The Christmas pie, the cookies all cooked with loads of butter. December 25th is long gone, but the leftovers still haunt us.

In our heart of hearts,  we would love to eat junk food any time of the day, but then the conscious people refrain from it due to health issues.

Health is Wealth. If Health is good, then we can make wealth. Wealth is the King these days. In this materialistic world where style and technology is changing within a wink of an eye, we need wealth to keep up with this world. So, in order to be happening we sacrifice this junk food, which is like a devil. It's making my mouth water right now while typing it.

So, either we can have a strong back bone and refrain from that kinda food or make a concoction of it and destroy our memories of what exactly it tasted like when we had it the last time.

Which one would you like to choose?

Making a Concoction is creative.

It could also taste good. Our taste buds could like the new so-called burger which is usually consisting of mayo, a slice of cheese, a patty, lettuce, slice of tomato, pickle. We could add a slice of cooked eggplant, a slice of zucchini, or any other vegetable which we hate the sight of.

Result?

This could either make us start liking the vegetable that we cannot stand the sight of or just cut back on our excess calories by refusing to eat another burger for a long time.

So, let's cook our favorite junk food in style. Decorate with all the vegetables or meat we hate the sight of and then serve it up in a humongous fancy platter. Let's be superficial to ourselves and wait up for the reaction; we would love to have all this time.

Mantra for today: Live life to the fullest and enjoy!

Live a Little

Inspired by the above title, as I am juggling through a list of things at home and still have a pending To-Do list at work.

The Result:

The pressure is driving me crazy and make me communicate less to my better half. Tea time is the time to sit and share a little laughter's in the morning, but instead I am juggling my cooking and getting my kid ready for the school, which I am pretty sure can wait as I used to. Time is valuable, and I want to finish my deadlines but still don't to lose control of my duties at home.

Today, I write this memoir to remind myself that this kind of life will not come again. Let the pressures around me not distract me to sit and live a little of MY life.

Duties, Responsibilities, Work will never end. What will end is my youth and my vigor to do stuff and if I don't make memories right now. I will not have anything to live by when I am old and haggard.

I gotta step out and enjoy nature walks and maybe click a few pix to keep nature with me. I also sometimes like to go to Pictimilitude and enjoy the nature captured by Cyndi.

Appreciate nature, appreciate people, appreciate time. Time will also appreciate your presence and help you get productive.

Mantra for today: Appreciation

Never say..Life is tough!

I was taken aback by this news where a newborn suffers when hugged. He has this rare disease that when hugged his blood vessels harden and that makes it difficult for him to breathe.

Can't imagine what trauma his parents must be going through. Seeing a young and innocent soul suffer 'cause of a gene gone missing when he was being developed in the womb. This is one of the rare diseases found yet, but to see this toddler suffer and his parents go through agony is mind blowing!

Wishing Jenna Buswell loads of best wishes and positivity to endure this pain while her toddler, Casen undergoes the right treatment for a speedy recovery.

This example is a shout out to all of us, who keep complaining of petty things in life and say that life is tough and unfair. Never ever say that...think of such examples where life has thrown them stones while we complain of pebbles!

To be grateful in whatever situation you are in is the way to attain peace and solace in your life. Contentment comes when we are happy and peaceful from within.

My Mantra for today: Gratitude
