Turning Point of Life

Someone once asked me, "What was the turning point of your life?"

“What's meant to be will always find a way.”
― Trisha Yearwood

For me, it was leaving the corporate job and become a nobody from a somebody. Sure, it was a tough decision. But that helped me discover my passion, interests and realize what ticked me off.

These days there are many of us who hardly understand the reason for their distress. Who has the time to ponder over it?

It's like someone declaring, "I am hungry." But never ponder over the reason.
In the same way, our moods change since we are unhappy about something, and we just make the statement by, not wanting to go beneath the sheets to identify the culprit.

Fortunately, I have the time to introspect thus, avoiding stress to take a toll on my health.

“Hold fast to dreams,
For if dreams die
Life is a broken-winged bird,
That cannot fly.”
― Langston Hughes

While I was living in my bliss and realizing how grateful I am to be able to live this kind of lifestyle. I came across a contest where a publishing house was looking for similar stories.
Tales that can give out a niche of how you survived if and when there was a turning point in your lives.

“Do you want to know who you are? Don't ask. Act! Action will delineate and define you.”
― Thomas Jefferson

Author's Ink published an anthology of the above title. After many people like you and me penned down their journeys.

This book is a collection of inspirational stories, which will guarantee to give you goose bumps, and hopefully make you look at avenues when you are at the cross roads in your respective lives

Check out the link below. I am also reading the many stories contributed by ~30 writers.

My peers can ignite the stimulus within me, only if I have the desire to walk further.

Mantra for today:  Inspiration can never become extinct if we continue to be aware of our talents, and limitations, and have the lust for life.
