Mars One!

Cruised the planet, Earth (well, most of it) and am thinking of venturing in the solar system cause wanna stray my eyes to a soil that is barren yet rich of minerals similar to planet Earth. My vision wants to wander to a place where there are no buildings, and the dirt is yet to envelope around creepers that have plans to creep up from the soil some day. The environment is wrapped around with peace and harmony as the few creatures that will descend from the flight will share a common accord.
Good vibes will be traveling around the few homo sapiens since survival amidst this barren land that might not welcome visitors could turn fatal. Yes, you guessed it right. I am thinking of planning a visit to Mars. I am sure SkyScanner will soon take bookings for people who desire to visit another planet.

This desolate, uninhabited planet needs work for mankind to survive and that is an added challenge that many of us have to embrace amidst the solitude that made us plan for this trip in the first place.
Since that place would be dreary with no outlets to shop or restaurants to feed my stomach; I ought to pack the basic things that involve my survival while I allow my mind to be at ease, which will eventually run out of thoughts as I embrace emptiness from my visit to Mars. Water and oxygen are a plenty as compared to other necessities.
Note to myself: All items have to be at least a couple of dozens cause the return would take a couple of months.
A toothbrush paired with a toothpaste,  Deodorants (since I will be sweating myself by hiking and maybe planting some seeds to reap), Change of clothes, Dehydrated foods, Warm Clothes, Wood, Match Sticks (eventually I will learn to make fire with the help of stones), An ultra warm sleeping bag, My emergency medicines, A pocketknife, Basic sanitation supplies, A walkman with lots of batteries and a couple of CD's since silence after some time can tend to haunt an individual. Man ought to make memories, so that mind stays active by thought processing.
Sure, not everybody wants to travel outside their planet, but somebody dares to thus, want to take that plunge along with others and see what the world is like in real besides just glaring at those glossy pictures in various magazines clicked by the satellite.
