Steady Gallop

Being an empty nester has more pros than cons. The house is cleaner than before, with not much on the to-do list. The driving from one class to another is bygone. The constant chattering and the back n fourth arguments are on silent mode.

Over the years, we've taught him the values of Life by discriminating right from wrong and emphasized discipline, respect, and hard work.

Now, it's time to sit back and watch the show.

Hopefully, it'll be a stable rhythmic ride where the kiddo will learn new things and move forward with steady gallop like a stallion.

Respect !!

"Get this out, Now!" Mrs. Bose commanded in an acerbic tone with her index finger pointing that individual and swinging it intensely.

"Sure! Please give me a minute, Ma'am." she requested meekly with her eyes bowed

"Now!"

The maid was quick to pick up her sick offspring. Patted on his back, and walked towards the exit while wiping her tears from her eyes.

"I quit!" she shouted.

"Sure thing! Take your dues for today's work." her boss called out.

"I don't want to eat from somebody's cash who does not have respect for another individual."

In 99 words (no more, no less) write a story that expresses a strong concern, something to give a crap about. Something that brings out the feeling to stand up. How can you use it to show tension or reveal attitudes?

Earning Money...a Choice?

Recently I published a hub on How money is related to Stress and Health concerns.

Money is essential for our living, and we got to earn it to survive. But how to draw a line with regards to money with our NEEDS versus the WANTS!

I always thought that if you are not a priest or salvaged your life; earning money is as compulsory as breathing, and that is the cycle of life that is needed for our existence.

I was wrong!

Recently came across a family that prefers to live without money by choice. They prefer to live on the generosity  of others to give them the essential supplies for survival.

The couple has a child, and they are on a money strike.

Seriously, when you have a child in your lives. Would you want to be living on the love and philanthropy of others?

My 2 cents:
You are educated souls, and can easily limit your wants and identify your needs and cash them accordingly; after you earn your money.

Mantra for today: Earn a living respectfully.
