We have been getting showers, and the result is not only relief to the soil and the souls, but we have seen lot of rainbows too!

Whenever I notice one, I always feel that a fairy has sprinkled some pixie dust, and voila!

With a New Year around the corner, may we all embrace these colors in our lives, and eliminate the darkness, the negativity by transforming for the better!

Mantra for today: Benevolence can only be followed if there is appreciation within.

When wants and needs coincide.
What is the Result?

Happiness, Hope, Optimism is in the Air.

We got our first rainfall on Monday. The soil quenched its thirst by absorbing every bit of this Dihydrogen oxide. The air had an odor, which when inhaled would give immense joy to the mind while the body shivered out of exultant and the dip in temperature.

Mantra for today: There is a fine line between wants and needs. If they coincide, there is contentment and appreciation.

Ideally it would be a classic example of the mind-body connection. But, little do we pause and contemplate at the moment. Instead, create havoc within and upset the mortal being.

The last super moon total lunar eclipse occurred 33 years ago. Thus, making most of us realize that this is an unusual phenomenon that could become once in a lifetime affair for some of us.

Thus making us understand the importance of LIFE and appreciating it by embracing even the ugliness that unfolds on a daily basis. Cause life is all about being in the moment, and enjoying the many features it unwinds.

Today I complete a century in WW.

This journey started with a special friend, Cynthia, who inspired me to look beyond words. Her Wordless Wednesday's made me look outside my window, appreciate the flowers, trees, passersby and also find beauty in inanimate objects! Such was her impact that I continued this journey while she took a diversion.

My picture for today is: The Magnificence of Light. 

How it illuminates all the area around it and absorbs the darkness.

Mantra for today: Positivity has no boundaries, and can engulf everything if the mind is open.

Some clouds clung to the orange hue even after the sunset.


As if giving hope to humanity over their various personal issues, and advising 'never to let go' cause tomorrow is another day, and they will find the answer to their dilemma.

Dunno if it was an experiment or if my county's representatives ran out of tar to surface the road.

But for one whole week the way to my home looked like this!
Half smooth and the other half was rough and patchy.

What amazed me even further was people were taking turns to drive on the finished road. Unless somebody were in a hurry, they would drive on the scaly patch.

Made me ponder that we all want a smooth, flowing life without any bumps, collisions and jerks. Thus, the above choice thy man makes even while driving his four wheels with the hope that life would also be as smooth as that drive.

Aha! The power of intentions.

Mantra for today: Intentions and awareness is a life lead in bliss.

Grapes were on this branch.

However, the fruit was eaten, devoured for its sweetness, and leaving the twig all bare, and lonely.

Thus, making this sprig useless and into the compost bin.

I want to correlate this twig with our body, which could be termed as a skeleton once we lose our breath and die.

This skeleton is of no use, and will either be burned or buried. All will be remembered is the personality, charisma, emotions of the person.

Thus, making our body just a bag of bones that helps us perform our actions.


Mantra for today: It's just a body. Let's go beyond ourselves!

Once upon a time when cell phones were not born, humanity had ways to shout for HELP.

Today, when I see those call boxes, I get curious if they work? Do they have representatives sitting on the other end waiting to hear our tales of emergency?

Today as I Ponder over issues that were sometime in the past a need, a requirement, an urgency and could have become extinct, makes me wonder how far man has traveled!

Mantra for today: The man has flourished no doubt, but alas has left his ethics behind!
