Wordless Wednesday #9

Taking you on the journey of one such hindu festival called Navratri. It consists of 9 days. This is a Golu festival where there is a display of different Gods and Goddesses, celestial beings, martyrs, saints, mortals, animals, reptiles and other such dolls arranged on steps that are set up using wooden planks.

My friend, had this awesome display in her house for nine whole days, which also included fun, frolic, good food and many people paying a visit to this beautiful display.

Mantra for today: Festival is the time for humanity to come together and celebrate history.

No Rules.
