The First Rain of the Season

"It's raining! Get the air fryer out," urged Dev as he walked in with damp clothes.

"You do realize fried food is not good for your health. Your cholesterol has been high," said Tina with an arched eyebrow.

Dev paused and took a deep breath, inhaling the Petrichor potpourri, a unique, earthy smell associated with rain.

"The season's first rainfall is always special, and it needs a celebration, Tina," he endorsed, "Besides, we are using an air fryer and not deep frying the food in oil, so it's not bad for the health." he winked with a twisted smile.

Birthday Celebrations

"Did you hear me, Joe?" Patty inquired.

"Yes! I got it. I have to be home on time." Said Joe irritably as he walked out the door.

"I bet he'll be late, and there goes all my preparation for his birthday party," Patty whispered to herself as she pulled out the many bowls she had hidden in the oven, away from Joe's sight.

"Oh! I know, how about I move the party to his workplace. That way, I won't have to fret over him coming on time." she said with a wide grin and was quick to text all.

Wordless Wednesday #53

Celebrated my friend's birthday in a restaurant where the host was quick to assemble something sweet along with a lit candle, thus making it a memorable moment while making the person whose birthday was celebrated, fold her hands in gratitude.

Aha! the effect of a candle!

It can tag any event to a celebration or signify peace.

Mantra for today: A candle not only eliminates darkness, but also is a sign of hope for a bright year ahead!
