In the Fall of 2010, my dad beat the first round of cancer, and things had started to look up.
I wished many things then for him and us as a family.
I had hoped he would visit me, start his business again after taking a hiatus, and success would be all his!!
After all, even lady luck has a heart and strikes when we are at our lowest point in life.
Alas! the Universe had some other plans.
Cancer came back with a bang, and the cosmos took him away from us within a wink of an eye.

I'm sorry for your loss. AT the very least, you had your father for a good many years, and that is a blessing, but cancer is not kind for anyone in the family, and I feel for all of you.
Thanks Bill. Yes, I'm blessed that he completed all his duties towards us. But, sad he was not around to enjoy the bounties of it since he passed away at 65.
Thanks for stopping by!
Sorry for your loss. Take care my friend.
Ruchira, this is a beautiful tribute to your Dad and even though it was tragic to lose him, there is yet hope in witnessing his life.
