"Yeah! I am getting the hang of it!" Sasha shouted with glee while raising her two hands to get the attention of her instructor who was quite a stretch away.

"Continue!" shouted the elated instructor from a distance, "but make sure your poles are on the ground when you make a wedge or move forward.

"Teaching always makes me crave for fast food!" murmured the instructor just as her beginner students were focussing on building their ski technique repertoire to become a more advanced skier courtesy the food that is favorite for all.

The Wings of Time...

"Sit up! Do not Slouch!"

"Use your common sense!"

"Value Time! Time will value you!"

"Where are your manners?"

Above are some of her favorite dialogues that still ring within.

Her gentle features, her sweet voice, her sophisticated walk, her style of dressing, her choices were always up to the mark. She was perfection in all avenues thus making me always rely on her for advise, instructions, suggestions whenever life would throw a cannonball at my end. She helped steer my driving wheel to a smooth road even though my foot would rest on the accelerator pedal. Life was comfy. Life was rosy. Life was a homey 'cause I knew even if I would fall I would have her as my gravity blanket which would spring me up emotionally and mentally.
She was my guiding star.

One day I got a call she is gone!

Gone as in Gone!

No Goodbyes!

No last minute instructions on how should I live my life!

Took me days and months to realize that she will not be physically around. Thankfully her voice still echoes within when in plight.

My Mom was my guiding star and today what I am is courtesy her although the fact that she abandoned me on March 12, 2017, still tears my heart.

Whoever said Time heals is not true!

In fact, memories tend to permeate with time just like salt dissolves in the ocean making it highly dense.

Land reclaimed!

"Hurry!!" hollered Mother Earth to Wind

The Wind huffed and puffed, and silenced the fire.

Mother Earth rolled her eyes,"I wish mankind could get a little responsible since this is their only home!"

It left a sooty smell, and the soil was charred. The air was grim that even she had to gasp for air.

"It's ruined!" he said in a dejected tone.

"Not when I am around!" Mother Earth winked, and she was quick to wave a hand over it. Vibrant colored fireweed started colonizing the disturbed site with the hope that it will reestablish vegetation.

A noun called Love

Once upon a time, there was a pea size planet. Sure, there was life on this celestial body since when I looked from Earth with a Celestron CPC 1100 GPS (XLT) 280mm f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain GoTo Telescope I could see two hands, two legs, a head and lots of hair. But, given the state these so-called humans existed, it made me very curious. Thus I continued to zoom through my telescope day and night to observe their peculiar habits. I would call them zombies. They minded their own business as I could not see any activity amongst them except them wandering from one place to another.

After 24 hours I found their life boring since these so-called humans had nothing exciting going on. They were mostly by themselves. They always had a frown on their forehead and a sneer over their lips, and that made me thank the planet Earth that I lived upon!

Thank goodness we knew about love, adoration, and affection. Even though we have a thing called newspaper that comes each morning that gives off 'news' that makes me always bitter as I swear after reading through it, but in spite of that we give out vibes of caring, compassion in the society that we live in as we carry it around wherever we go.

Love is what's making the world go around even though our planet is tilted!
The vibrations in the universe give life to Newton's theory of gravity thus making us steady and grounded.

We all have a universe around us. This world is your immediate family, your friends, your neighbors. It's this adoration. The fondness that makes the heart flutter, and the hand and the feet go an extra mile to do something for the other person. This person could be your immediate family or even your neighbor or a friend. But those vibes are so infectious that it gets caught on immediately.
Sure, love has many forms.  But just the little stretch of the muscles around the lips, the extension of one's hand towards somebody especially when in adversity, a compassionate hug are just mere expressions to show that you care.

Honestly, I would not like anything if love did not exist in me or around me!

Forget the chocolates.
The ice-cream.
All the delicious food the chefs on this planet have invented or put together.
 The lush and green surroundings.
The chirps of the birds.
The wind chimes giving off that melodious music when the wind passes by!
The blue sky that resonates peace and calmness.
The tall trees that sway from left to right as if humming a song.
The music created by human artists that span from rock n roll to jazz to classical and contemporary.
The magnificent feeling of a hug.

What would life be without love?
We too would be roaming like the people on the pea planet. Thankfully, our world has this noun in abundance so, let's pat our back and enjoy the above ten things since they make our lives so much to be cherished for!

Mantra for today: Love is life! Give and you shall receive!

Yearn to be Alone?

Lonely

Alone

Lately, I came across these two words and have read the interpretation of many for the above.

There are times when a person is surrounded by people, yet he feels lonely and there have been moments when an individual is alone and yet enjoying life to the fullest!

Both these adjectives have a deeper meaning on their respective platform resulting in a fulfilling motive that have aspired many to venture out and discover their path of comfort.

Although, I have come across people who say that their minds are beautifully programmed, and they can press the mute button and be actually alone and lonely at the same time.

I admire such people!

Practically speaking an individual can never be lonely.

He can be alone, but never be lonely!
Cause if he is lonely, it could be termed as a disease called depression. That's when the mind stops talking to the body, and that would not be good!

A man's mind is such an active machine that keeps churning ideas, thoughts, feelings of some sorts, theories, and viewpoints that he does not really need company if he allows his mind to keep churning.

In both the above adjectives, the mind plays an important role. We just ought to be on the look out and communicate with our consciousness to make a wise decision.

With the current times, man longs to be alone more so to cleanse himself from all sorts of energies that he tends to hook upon. Unfortunately, the negative energy leeches upon and eventually sucks the blood out of if we don't attempt to ponder over a path of just us, being ALONE aka cleansing!

Researchers are finding good results in individuals who yearn to be alone and how it affects their overall health.

Thus, next time don't be afraid to be alone to do something, and you will be surprised by the amount of memories you will make for yourself even if you have no other body to share the moment with.

Mantra for today: Communication between the mind and body is important to enjoy being alone, yet not lonely.

A good investment

"Splash!"

"Toby quit splashing into the puddles" Mom urged as she walked with his tiny hand enclosed in her big palm on a rainy day while holding an umbrella with the other side that covered mostly her toddler inspite of him wearing a rain jacket.

Toby paused for a bit then looked up at her and after a mischievous wink continued to spatter water until they reached their car.

The mom was quick to put her son in his car seat. She removed his boots to check his socks.

"Dry socks!" she sighed in relief then muttered, "Good investment!"

"Maggi!"

No response.

"Can't find the girl anywhere in the house. Aha! Must be on the porch on her old ragged chair." Mom muttered as she stepped towards the patio.

"Cathedra, Alison did not invite me to her b'day party and instead poked fun at my dress."

Maggi whimpered as she caressed the arm of the chair.

"She is not my friend anymore!"

Wiping her tears, "But you will always be my pal since you are here to listen to my pain and joys."

Mom overheard and changed her opinion. She was now in awe of the chair!
